Terms of service
These terms apply to every purchase on madzagdog.com. By placing an order, you accept them. Our Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy are part of these terms.
1. Seller

2. Products
We make leather dog accessories by hand in small batches in Budapest. Leather is a natural material, so colour, grain and finish can differ slightly from the photos and between pieces. These differences are not faults.
Some products can be made to order (a model in a colourway we don't normally offer, or an alteration such as a custom length). We confirm these by email before we start; they take up to 10 working days to make.
3. Prices
Prices are in Hungarian forints (HUF). MADZAG is exempt from VAT (alanyi adómentes), so no VAT is charged and the prices shown are final. Shipping costs are not included; they are shown at checkout before you place your order. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. If a price is clearly wrong because of a technical error, we will contact you before fulfilling the order, and you can cancel it.
4. Ordering
- Add the products you want to your cart.
- Go to checkout and enter your contact and delivery details. You can review and correct everything before you pay.
- Choose a shipping method and pay.
- You receive an order confirmation by email. The contract is formed when we send this confirmation.
The contract is concluded electronically. It is not a written contract, we do not file it separately, and it can be accessed through your order confirmation email. The contract language is English or Hungarian, as you choose. You must be at least 18 years old to order, or have a parent's permission.
5. Payment
You pay by bank card at checkout through SimplePay (OTP Mobil Kft.). We do not see or store your card details. We send your invoice by email.
6. Delivery
We ship once a week, on Thursday, to Hungary and all EU countries. Delivery options, times and costs are in our Shipping Policy.
7. Withdrawal, exchanges and returns
You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason, except for made-to-order products. Size exchanges are free; you pay the shipping both ways. Full details are in our Return & Refund Policy.
8. Guarantee
All products are covered by the 2-year legal guarantee (kellékszavatosság) from delivery. We do not offer an additional commercial warranty. We also offer paid repairs. Details are in our Return & Refund Policy.
9. Complaints
Send complaints to madzagdog@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. If we cannot agree, you can turn to the conciliation board (békéltető testület) for your place of residence; in Budapest this is the Budapesti Békéltető Testület (1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99., bekelteto.testulet@bkik.hu). Consumers in other EU countries can get free help from the European Consumer Centre in their country.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Hungarian law, in particular the Civil Code (2013. évi V. törvény) and Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.). If you live in another EU country, you keep the consumer protection of your country's law.
